Meghan Markle is doing damage control after hurting her former "Suits" co-stars, according to a source.

The Duchess of Sussex landed a new podcast project with Lemonada Media after Spotify axed "Archetypes." She is allegedly trying to reconnect with the celebrities she worked with on the hit legal drama "Suits" by inviting them to her new podcast even though she previously distanced herself from them.

"It's all very well for Meghan to expect support when she needs it and obviously she's desperate for this podcast to be a success, but a lot of people think she's got real cheek to be asking for any sort of help from her old co-stars," an unnamed source said, per GB News.

"After all, she refused to take part in their recent reunion and has shown no interest in staying in touch with the majority of them -- she wouldn't even join their WhatsApp group. Meghan doesn't ever put 'Suits' down, but she's certainly distanced herself from most of the cast and from the show. It's pretty insulting and the feeling is that she ought to be a lot more loyal to her roots."

The insider added that the show catapulted Markle to fame and contributed to how she met Prince Harry. So, it reportedly appeared to a lot of people that Markle was "ungrateful" when she distanced herself from the show and her co-stars after she married the royal prince.

"So, for her to now come with cap in hand asking for them to appear on her podcast and help promote her products is pretty tone-deaf, to say the least," the tipster continued.

"She's going to need to explain herself and do some serious damage control if she's going to have any chance of wooing them back to her side because there are a lot of hurt feelings."

Earlier this year, Patrick J. Adams, Gina Torres, Sarah Rafferty and Gabriel Macht reunited to present the Best TV Drama at the Golden Globes. However, Markle and Rick Hoffman were noticeably missing.

A Globes insider claimed that Markle was invited, but she declined due to a previous commitment. Torres also revealed in the same event that their "text thread is insane," but they didn't have Markle's number.

In the same event, Macht and Adams were asked about the potential return of "Suits" and whether Markle could join them. Adams said, "She's pretty popular right now," and Macht asked, "Who?" The latter's response sparked various reactions, with many saying it was "cheeky" and "hilarious" because Macht allegedly appeared to not agree with Markle's popularity.
