Sandra 'Pepa' Denton was flying on Southwest Airlines to Nashville, Tennessee, from Las Vegas, Nevada.

Denton, 59, shared a video of the incident on Instagram of the aftermath when she had already exited the plane.

She can be heard speaking to employees about having two seats, which she purchased due to a leg injury related to a 2018 car accident.

The "Shoop" rapper claimed another man asked for one of her seats, which he was given after she was escorted off the jet. Unlike other airlines, Southwest does not participate in assigned seating, allowing passengers to choose their seats once onboard.

It's unclear whether the Southwest employee was made aware of the hip-hop emcee's paid-for double seats or if they were under the impression that she was trying to use a second seat for free. The Southwest employee also alleged the Grammy Award winner was filming on the plane, to which she responded that she was on the phone with her assistant.

Denton claimed flight attendants tried to move her to the exit row, but she declined because she couldn't assist in the event of an emergency.

"Our Flight Crews are responsible for the Safety and Comfort of all Passengers in the cabin," Southwest said in a statement shared with the 'Daily Mail.' "With that in mind, they denied boarding to the Customer and her ticket was refunded."

Denton, who received a $2,500 refund for both seats, said she is exploring her legal options.
