Drake is experiencing firsthand the impact of severe rainfall in Toronto.

The rapper took to Instagram on Tuesday to share a striking video depicting extensive flooding inside his Toronto mansion.

In the video, an individual, assumed to be the 37-year-old, filmed a room submerged in water, with the level rising to ankle height.

"This better be Espresso Martini," text on the video read. The camera holder is seen holding a broom while moving towards a door, revealing water seeping into a hallway.

Drake's hometown of Toronto experienced over 100 mm (approximately four inches) of rainfall in various areas on Tuesday, city officials shared. By Wednesday, 'Toronto Hydro' reported that around 3,200 customers remained without power, a significant drop from the 167,000 affected initially. Flash floods also resulted in road closures.

The city of Toronto advised residents to contact 311 for basement flooding, resulting in over 700 calls, as stated in a press release. They emphasized caution regarding health and safety during basement cleanup, warning against standing in floodwater and recommending professional assistance.

Drake's Toronto residence, named The Embassy, spans 50,000 square feet and features amenities such as an indoor basketball court and a 3,200-square-foot master bedroom, as detailed by 'Architectural Digest.'

He told the outlet in 2020 that "Because I was building it in my hometown, I wanted the structure to stand firm for 100 years. I wanted it to have a monumental scale and feel."

Fans took to social media to discuss the incident, claiming the "Hotline Bling" rapper was having "the worst summer ever" amid his hip-hop beef with Kendrick Lamar.

Rick Ross also trolled his adversary online. 'XXL' reported Ross, real name William Leonard Roberts II, posted on Instagram, "Auction it, possibly get 2 M's."
