Wendy Williams’ 60th Birthday Will Be ‘Very Sad’ Because ‘No One Can Reach Her:' Report
Wendy Williams turned 60 years old on Thursday, July 18, but an insider claims her birthday will be "very sad."
According to a source who spoke with 'InTouch,' Williams' family and friends wanted to throw the former talk show host a party for the milestone, however, they're unable to get in touch with her.
The insider called the situation "sad" because "no one can reach her to wish her a happy birthday."
"Wendy loved parties," they claimed. "Her birthday was a big deal for her."
In June, the best friend of Williams wasn't convinced her friend was in a good space due to her guardianship.
Regina Schell continued to voice serious concerns about Williams' guardianship and reported isolation. This uncharacteristic isolation has prompted Schell to speak out to the 'U.S. Sun,' highlighting the reported troubling circumstances surrounding Williams' guardianship. Schell even compared Williams' current situation with Britney Spears' conservatorship.
The guardianship in question began in 2022, with Sabrina Morrissey appointed as Williams' guardian amid her ongoing health crises. Morrissey, however, is not related to Williams, a fact that has fueled Schell's concerns.
Furthermore, Schell suggested that Morrissey might not be adequately attending to Williams' needs, particularly her nutrition. "She would order food at like 7:30 in the morning and breakfast wouldn't arrive till 11:30, and by that time she's ready for lunch," Schell claimed.
The guardianship is suspected largely due to the inaccessibility of Williams herself. She has not been photographed in public for several years.
