Donald Trump's family, including his wife Melania Trump and daughter Ivanka Trump, came in full force to see him formally accept the Republican nomination for president Thursday.

The former first lady has largely stayed away from the spotlight since leaving the White House in 2021, while Ivanka, who previously served as senior White House adviser to her father, has stepped back from politics altogether.

However, both women made a rare public appearance at the Fiserv Forum in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Thursday to show support for Trump on the final day of the 2024 Republican National Convention, The New York Times reported.

It was their first appearance at the convention since it began Monday.

Melania, Ivanka and her husband Jared Kushner were seen seated next to Trump's other children, Tiffany Trump, Eric Trump and Donald Trump Jr., in the audience as the former president gave his keynote address at the convention.

They were joined by Donald Jr.'s fiancée Kimberly Guilfoyle and Eric's wife Lara Trump, who is also the co-chair of the Republican National Committee.

Before they entered the arena, Melania, Ivanka and Eric accompanied the former president as he signed his official nomination paperwork off-stage.

Trump and his wife were also captured in photos having a sweet moment before his keynote address at the convention.

In an image published by The New York Times and shared on X, formerly Twitter, Trump and Melania were all smiles as they held hands backstage.

Melania later walked out at the Fiserv Forum to the tune of Ludwig Van Beethoven's "Symphony No. 9 in D minor, Op. 125."

Several of Trump's grandchildren were also in attendance, including Donald Jr.'s 17-year-old daughter Kai Trump and Eric's two kids, 6-year-old Eric Luke and 4-year-old Carolina Dorothy.

Carolina, who looked adorable in a light blue shirt, sat on her grandfather's lap at one point during the event, as seen in a clip posted by ABC News.

Kai -- who Donald Jr. shares with his ex-wife Vanessa -- made her debut campaign trail speech during the GOP convention, sharing "the side of [her] grandpa that people don't often see."

"A lot of people have put my grandpa through hell, and he's still standing. Grandpa, you are such an inspiration and I love you. The media makes my grandpa seem like a different person, but I know him for who he is," Kai said, according to a video shared by CBS News.

"He's very caring and loving," the teen continued. "He truly wants the best for this country and he will fight every single day to make America great again."

Barron Trump was the only one of Trump's five kids not in attendance.

The office of the 18-year-old's mother Melania had earlier issued a statement saying he would not participate due to "prior commitments."

A Trump campaign official also confirmed to Politico Thursday that the soon-to-be college student would be absent from the convention.
