Clint Eastwood's longtime girlfriend Christina Sandera has died. She was 61.

Eastwood, 94, announced his partner's death via a statement Thursday night.

"Christina was a lovely, caring woman, and I will miss her very much," the actor-director said, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

A cause of death was not disclosed.

No further details will be released on the circumstances of Sandera's passing, a Warner Bros. spokesperson told the publication.

Eastwood and Sandera had been in a relationship for 10 years at the time of her death.

The couple reportedly started dating after they met in 2014 at Eastwood's Mission Ranch Hotel and Restaurant in Carmel-by-the-Sea, California, where Sandera worked as a hostess.

The "Million Dollar Baby" star and Sandera largely kept their relationship low-key, but she accompanied him to several star-studded events through the years.

Sandera was by his side at the 2015 Oscars, where Eastwood's "American Sniper" received six nominations.

She also joined him on the red carpet for the premieres of the movies "Sully" in 2016, "The Mule" in 2018, "The 15:17 to Paris" in 2018 and "Richard Jewell" in 2019.

The couple did not welcome any kids during their decade-long relationship.

Eastwood has eight children from previous relationships: sons Kyle, 56, and Scott, 38, as well as daughters Laurie, 70, Kimber, 60, Alison, 52, Kathryn, 36, Francesca, 30, and Morgan, 27.

The four-time Oscar winner was previously married to model Maggie Johnson from 1953 to 1984 and to news anchor Dina Ruiz from 1996 to 2014.

Eastwood also had long-term relationships with actresses Frances Fisher and Sondra Locke as well as flight attendant Jacelyn Reeves.

Eastwood rarely opened up about his personal life and relationships throughout his more than six decades in Hollywood.

"There are other people that are involved there and they're vulnerable people," he previously told CBS News. "I can protect myself, but they can't."
