Meghan Markle could drop another "bomb" about the royal family in her rumored upcoming memoir, a royal expert has claimed.

Rumors that the Duchess of Sussex is penning a tell-all book have been around since at least January 2023 -- when Prince Harry released his bestselling memoir, "Spare," as part of a lucrative multi-book deal.

While Markle has given no hint that she's working on such a project, royal biographer Tom Bower recently suggested that a memoir from Markle was only a matter of time.

Speaking to The Sun on Saturday, Bower -- a biographer of King Charles and longtime critic of the Sussexes -- predicted that Markle would fill her supposed future autobiography with "vitriol" and "lies" about the royal family as an "ultimate weapon" to sell more copies.

"We're still waiting for Meghan's own autobiography, which I'm sure she's penning. She's a good writer," the royal expert said. "It will be filled with vitriol and filled with lies."

"She will not tell the truth because you want sensational headlines," he further claimed. "That is the ultimate weapon she can deploy."

As for why Bower believes Markle will release her own memoir despite the backlash to "Spare," he claimed that the Sussexes may need another boost to their earnings and fame as their "future" is looking "pretty grim."

"I think they're on a permanent decline," he told The Sun.

"But whenever they need money, whenever they need publicity to stoke their reputation, they will drop another little bomb," Bower added, seemingly referring to the projects Markle and Prince Harry have released since quitting royal duties in 2020.

Enstarz could not independently verify the claims. Entertainment Tonight reported last year that there was no truth to reports that Markle was working on an autobiography.

The couple took aim at the royal family in several projects and interviews over the past four years, including their Oprah Winfrey sit-down, Prince Harry's "Spare" and their Netflix docuseries "Harry & Meghan."

Markle previously released a children's book, titled "The Bench," in June 2021.

Earlier this year, the Duchess of Sussex announced the launch of her lifestyle brand, American Riviera Orchard.

She also recently wrapped up filming a cooking and lifestyle show that will air on Netflix.
