Big Sean Addresses Whether He Thinks Kanye West Leaked His Upcoming Album
Big Sean is standing by his former label head Kanye West.
The Detroit born artist refuted rumors suggesting that West was behind the recent leak of his new tracks.
During an Instagram Live session, the Midwest emcee addressed the real hacker.
"To whoever did do that, just know it did f**k me up... talking about Ye did it.... I know he ain't do that," he said.
Big Sean, real name Sean Michael Leonard Anderson, cited his close connection to the Chicago native as to why he believes West wasn't to blame.
The "Bounce Back" rapper was signed to Kanye's GOOD Music label from 2007 to 2021. Despite West describing signing Sean to his label was the "worst" decision of his career in a 'Drink Champs' interview, Sean has maintained that their relationship remains amicable.
Big Sean, 36, also expressed his appreciation and affection for GOOD Music. He mentioned that he has sold 185 million records with the label. Sean also reminisced about being present while the 24-time Grammy winner recorded some of his most celebrated albums, including 'Graduation', '808s & Heartbreak', and 'My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy.'
