Randy Jackson Unrecognizable: Ex-'American Idol' Judge Sparks Major Health Concerns Over Shocking Weight Loss
Randy Jackson has left fans alarmed and concerned over his massive weight loss and gaunt face during his latest television appearance.
Earlier this week, Reality Club Fox shared on X, formerly Twitter, a clip of Jackson, 68, from the latest episode of "Name That Tune," in which he serves as the band leader.
In the clip, Jackson, who sported a dark blue suit jacket, white T-shirt and tinted glasses, looked unrecognizable and much thinner than he did during his stint as an "American Idol" judge.
Jackson's appearance quickly led to fans questioning how he lost so much weight and expressing concern over his health.
One X user shared a throwback image of Jackson alongside a screenshot of Jackson from "Name That Tune," writing: "What happened to Randy Jackson?"
"He looks beyond SICK! This [ain't] cool," another person commented.

"This Randy Jackson???" a third user asked, sharing a screenshot of the TV personality's current look.
A fourth person wrote, "Why they got Randy Jackson looking like this on @NameThatTune??? This [ain't] right."
Another user described Jackson's gaunt appearance as "f**kin' terrifying."
Jackson was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes in 2002 when he weighed 350 pounds.
The following year, the record executive underwent gastric bypass surgery, which involves using staples to make the stomach smaller so a person feels full quicker and eats less.
Jackson lost more than 100 pounds following the procedure, and he has since managed to keep the weight off.
In his 2008 book "Body With Soul," Jackson said he began living a more healthy lifestyle after his diabetes diagnosis, which he described as a "huge wake-up call."
"It's a curse to be saddled with a disease that's life-threatening and that you can't completely get rid of, though you can certainly manage it," he wrote, according to Us Weekly. "But it's a blessing to get that huge wake-up call."
"After that day in the ER, when my doctor burst the bubble I'd been living in, I couldn't lie to myself anymore. Right then and there, I began my journey toward better health," he continued.
In 2022, Jackson revealed to People his secret to maintaining his 114-pound weight loss.
According to the musician, he doesn't do crash diets or deny himself sweets but makes sure to eat healthy.
"I hate the word diet. I don't use that anymore. Anybody that's lost weight, you lose it and then you start eating and drinking more and it all starts coming back. That's what started happening to me," he told the magazine. "I was like, 'No, I'm not going to spend my life going through this."
