Episode 10 of Breaking Bad's fifth season, titled Buried, shined a light on how Hank's investigation will affect Walt and Jessie's relationship moving forward.

'Breaking Bad' Season 5 Spoilers: IRS Investigates Skyler & Walt Eliminates Evidence In Episode 2 Of Part 2 [VIDEO]

In Buried, Jessie is arrested after the police discover he was throwing millions of dollars out of his car onto the streets. They question Jessie about the origins of the money, but Walt's partner in crime doesn't give them any information. Jessie seems to be in a depression-induced trance during the interrogation and it's not clear whether he's purposefully remaining silent because he won't give up Walt or himself, or if he's mum because he's on the verge of a psychological breakdown.

Buried ended with Hank's discovery that Jessie was in police custody, just as he was looking for a solid piece of evidence to tie Walt to his crimes. Hank entered the interrogation room where Jessie is being held, in hopes that Jessie would provide the damning evidence he needs to arraign Walt.

The title of the next episode, Confessions, and the official synopsis for the episode seem to hint that Jessie may tell Hank what he wants to know: "Jesse decides to make a change, while Walt and Skyler try to deal with an unexpected demand."

'Breaking Bad' Season 5 Part 2 Spoilers: Jessie Pinkman To Exit Series in Episode 3? [VIDEO & News]

In AMC's synopsis for the eight episodes in part 2 of season 5, Jessie is featured in the first three but is absent in the descriptions for the last 5 episodes. A new detail from Buried seems to debunk the theory that Jessie's "change" resulted in his exit from the series.

In a scene from episode 10, during a conversation with Walt, Saul insinuates that the best way to handle Hank is to kill him. However, Walt vehemently refused to do so because he said Hank is "family." Walt may consider Jessie "family" as well and would not resort to murder even if his sidekick gives up their drug operation.

The next episode of Breaking Bad, Confessions, will air on Aug. 25 at 9 p.m. EST.
