The Baltimore Ravens and the Denver Broncos will face off tonight in their first match of the regular season.
After a month of preseason matchups, the NFL 2013 season officially kicks off this evening with a clash between the AFC North and the AFC West.
During the preseason weeks, Denver won two of their four games, beating out San Francisco in Week One and St. Louis in Week Three while losing to the Seattle Seahawks during Week Two and falling to the Arizona Cardinals in Week Four.
For their part, the Baltimore also won two of their four preseason battles, triumphing over Tampa Bay in Week One and Atlanta during Week Two while crumpling in Week Three and Four before Carolina and St. Louis.
Both teams will be starting with two Super Bowl champion quarterbacks, Peyton Manning for the Broncos and Joe Flacco for the Ravens. According to NFL.com, Denver currently outranks their Maryland counterparts in three of the four most important areas, coming in fourth in Offense, second in Defense, and fifth in Passing. Meanwhile, the Ravens rank 11th in Rushing compared to the Broncos' 16th.
