The England side will be hosting Australia in what should be an exciting matchup of the 3rd ODI on Wednesday.

The English are looking to even out the contest by obtaining a win, following the Aussies' 88-run win in the prior match.

After the first contest at Leeds was rained out, Australia prevailed at Old Trafford on Sunday, which was a testament to the batting of captain Michael Clarke and vice-captain George Bailey. Clarke came through with his 8th ODI century (105), and Bailey put up the acceleration (82 from 67) to assist the squad with a total of 315/7.

On the other hand, England has had a rough time, struggling at 105/5, even though Kevin Pietersen (60) made the most of an opportunity in an opening role.

Captain Eoin Morgan (54) and Jos Buttler (75 from 65) attempted to get back the innings but it was too late, as the home team was out-bowled for 227 in the 45 over.
