Holly Madison Married, Wed Pasquale Rotella, Baby Rainbow's Father At Disneyland Ahead Of Trial
Reality star Holly Madison and Pasquele Rotella wed in a Cinderalla fairytale-inspired wedding in Dineyland on Wednesday.
The Girls Next Door star's six-month-old daughter Rainbow was "the surprise guest of honor," their rep said in a statement to Us Weekly.
"Entertainer/model/producer Holly Madison exchanged vows with CEO and founder of Insomniac Events Pasquale Rotella on Tuesday, September 10th, at 10:40 p.m.," the rep told Us Weekly. "Their 6-month-old daughter Rainbow was the surprise guest of honor. The wedding was held inside Disneyland Resort in Anaheim, Calif. This is the first marriage for both."
The couple held their nuptials in a section of the park that was closed to the public. It was officiated in New Orleans Square, just outside the entrance of the Pirates of the Caribbean ride, according to the report.
E! Online reported on Wednesday a source witnessed the couple arrive in a Cinderella glass carriage. They were driven down Main Street and had a footman on standby to assist in getting them in and out of the stylish ride. The ceremony was held at the Blue Bayou restaurant in New Orleans Square, according to E!'s source.
On Monday, Sept. 9. Madison showed off a their marriage license in her Celebuzz blog post.
"We did it!" Madison wrote. "Last wedding prep item taken off the checklist-we went and got our marriage license this morning!"
This is the first marriage for both parents. The couple got engaged in June; they began dating in December, 2011. They welcomed their daughter Rainbow on March 5.
The couple, however, arranged to get married nine days before Rotella begins trial for embezzlement charges. An attorney not involved with the case considers the odd move of marrying shortly before his trial date "suspicious."
"It does seem very suspicious that they would marry on the eve of trial," Los Angeles criminal defense attorney Dana Cole told RadarOnline. "That will definitely cancel out the ability of the prosecutor to call her as a witness."
The promoter is due in court on Sept. 19 to face charges that could put him away for 13 years. Rotella was charged for 29 counts for several offenses including embezzlement and conspiracy. If convicted, he faces a sentencing with a maximum of 13 years and 8 months in prison. When he was indicted, he was released on bail after shelling out $1.8 million.
