A British secretary who soared to fame after a viral video of her shaking her hips and dancing at a bus stop has now earned a spot in the chorus line of a live stage show.

Ellie Cole, 35, from Eastleigh, Hants, England, was videotaped by Jane Rowland from a café across the street. Cole was swaying her hips, bouncing with her knees bent, and moving her head from side to side to the Alesha Dixon song, Knock Down. Rowland then posted the video online under the caption "Eastleigh's Got Talent," and set it to the ABBA song Dancing Queen.

The video, which was actually uploaded in April, has since had over 1 million views.

One such viewer was Lynne Paris, the writer and director of the musical AH Men, which is set to appear at the The Point theatre in Eastleigh this weekend. After watching, she offered Cole the spot in the chorus line of her show. Cole appeared in a preview for the show this week.

"I think anybody who likes music could identify with it," Paris told The Daily Telegraph.

"I'm just a normal everyday person who happens to like dancing at bus stops," Cole told The Telegraph. "Still to this day I find it hard to believe what happened with the video."

Cole had studied performing arts for one year at Eastleigh College, but dropped out after she could no longer afford it after she lost her job.

"It's very flattering and humbling. There's no doubt it's very exciting," Cole told The Telegraph about finally having the chance to do something she really loved on stage.

Both Cole and Rowland appeared on The Today Show Wednesday to talk about the video.

"I've been watching her for months and everybody has seen her going along the streets," Rowland said when asked if she regretted putting the video up. "I videoed her because my friends asked, they wanted to see it, so I popped it on my Facebook page and the rest is history basically."
