On Thursday night, Glee returned for an emotional season 5 premiere, but it seemed one pop culture reference really resonated with fans. As Blaine and Kurt try to mend their romance, Kurt admitted he didn't know if love and relationships were really built to last.

"I mean, I don't know if relationships work... Weren't Bethenny and Jason supposed to be forever?" Kurt asks Blaine referencing Bethenny Ever After stars Bethenny Frankel and Jason Hoppy, who are now facing a real life divorce battle.

Bethenny fans on Twitter blew up about the name drop.

"OMG dying over the @Bethenny & Jason reference," one fan tweeted.

Another fan vented: "Glee taking a shot at @Bethenny = NOT OK."

Although fans have tweeted at Frankel about the reference, the talk show host has yet to respond.

Frankel and Hoppy married in 2010 while Frankel was pregnant with their daughter Bryn. Their wedding, and planning leading up to it, was aired on the Bravo spin-off series Bethenny Getting Married.

The former Real Housewives of New York star filed for divorce in January 2013. Hoppy is currently seeking child support and primary custody of their daughter.

Frankel spoke about her divorce earlier this year, calling her marriage a "mistake."

"Because of Bryn, I can never say, 'I wish this had never happened,'" she explained. "I have a beautiful child who I love so much, who is a part of both of us. In my marriage, I made a mistake. It is what it is. I made the wrong choice. But I do have my daughter, who is so beautiful and amazing in every way."
