Amid reports that she is dating her Vampire Diaries co-star Paul Wesley, actress Phoebe Tonkin shared some news about the relationship between Hayley and Klaus on the Vampire Diaries spin-off The Originals.

Tonkin, 24, sat down with TV Guide, according to Wetpaint.com, and teased some info about how Haley will handle relocating to New Orleans, as well the struggles she will face with Klaus, who got her pregnant after a one-night stand.

"You know, they're both in this together," the actress said. "This is a big deal that's changed both their lives. It goes back and forth each episode, because they're both feisty and they're both in these situations that they didn't really ask for. So there's friction between the two of them, but then at the end they kind of do come together and realize that they're now the parents of something else and they can't be selfish."

One relationship that doesn't have this stress is Tonkin's newly reported relationship with Paul Wesley, her co-star from The Vampire Diaries.

The two were spotted out at Soho house in Manhattan on Saturday on what appeared to be a double date with actors Ben McKenzie and Shelley Hennig, according to UPI.

"It looked like Paul and Phoebe might have set up ben and Shelley," an eyewitness said. "Seemed like a first date."

"Paul and Phoebe were 100 percent romantic-they were across the table from Ben all cozied up on the couch kissing each other," the eyewitness added. "She had her head on his chest."

Wesley, 31, confirmed his split from wife Torrey DeVitto, 29, this past July.
