Before marrying Blake Lively last year, Ryan Reynolds once romanced TV actress Melissa Joan Hart.
In her new tell-all, Melissa Explains It All, Hart gets candid about the pair’s juicy hookup -- and how she had to break the news to Lively.
Earlier this year, Hart first opened up about the hot make out session during an interview on Chelsea Lately. Hart revealed that Reynolds gave her an expensive watch after the pair wrapped the Sabrina the Teenage Witch movie back in 1996. Hart said, "He was 17 and I was, like, 19. I was like, 'You're too young for me.'"

The star said she didn't know how to react to the sweet gesture, so she "just grabbed him and started kissing him."
"You get a piece of jewelry like that, you gotta make out with the guy!" Hart reasoned.
In a new interview, Hart told Life & Style that Lively had no idea out the hot hookup.
“Blake reached out to me last year and she asked me to help her with a birthday present for Ryan,” the Melissa & Joey star revealed.

Hart then had to explain that she once hooked up with Lively's hubby because it would soon be public knowledge. The mom of three revealed, "It's funny. I told her, 'Just so you know, I’m coming out with a book,' and she was like, 'Okay!'"
How did that sit with Lively?
“We are actually friendly with each other,” Hart said.
The Green Lantern co-stars tied the knot in September 2012 at Boone Hall Plantation in Mt. Pleasant, S.C., just outside of Charleston.
