Apple could be releasing yet another version of iOS 7 software next week in the hopes of fixing more bugs and performance issues from the first two versions.

According to ijailbreak.com, the company released iOS 7.0.2 last week to fix a lockscreen vulnerability in iOS 7. However, another lockscreen flaw was discovered, prompting the need for iOS 7.0.3. The second version of the software allowed users to make calls from a locked iPhone without having to unlock it via a passcode, according to the report.

A video online showed someone gaining access to the iPhone keypad running iOS 7.0.2 by tapping into the emergency call feature, CNET reported.

Apple has reportedly sent iOS 7.0.3 to its employees and partners for final testing and could be releasing it to the public as early as next week. The new software is not only supposed to fix the lockscreen bugs, but improve performance on the iPad as well.

Users of iOS 7 have reported trouble sending or receiving SMS messages via iMessage, a problem that supposedly persisted in version 7.0.2.

After the company released iOS 7 on Sept. 18, Apple deployed iOS 7.0.1 for the iPhone 5C and 5S, and 7.0.2 for all iOS 7 devices. The software update featured a complete overhaul in design and the addition of useful features like automatic updates. New functions include AirDrop, a Wi-fi service allowing users to share files among other updated Mac systems, as well as iTunes Radio.
