The Pittsburgh Pirates will be facing off against the St. Louis Cardinals in what should be an exciting Game 1 showdown of the 2013 N.L. Division Series at Busch Stadium.

A.J. Burnett will be getting the ball for the Pirates while Adam Wainwright takes the hill for the Cardinals.

Burnett, who's accustomed to such a setting from his days as a New York Yankee, spoke to ESPN about his thoughts on making the post-season with the underdog Pittsburgh.

"I guess the main thing is, over in New York, it's expected every year, you know? You tend to get in there a couple of weeks before the season ends. And this one was more of a 'Shock the world, we're going to do it, we made it!'" he explained.

Pirates skipper Clint Hurdle expects a strong matchup between two clubs that know each other quite well from the regular season.

"We know them, they know us. There won't be any ball tricks, I hope. No Statue of Liberty plays," he said.
