The first casualty of the Fall TV season has been announced.

The unlucky honor of receiving the first 2013-14 axe went to none other than ABC's drama, Lucky 7, about the consequences faced by a group of gas station employees after they win a jackpot.

The show only posted a 0.7 rating among the target audience of adults age 18-49 during the Tuesday night 10:00 p.m. slot. The numbers were down an overwhelming 46% from the series' premiere, which also performed on the poorer side.

For now, ABC will run repeats of Scandal, which hit series highs during its third season premiere Thursday night, until the network can find a permanent replacement. No immediate plans to air the already-produced episodes have been made, and the network is discussing plans to stop all production immediately, according to Deadline.com.

Chances are that the show performed so poorly were the lack of star potential, poor marketing, and no established lead-in that would originally bring viewers in (7 aired behind fellow freshman shows Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., The Goldbergs, and Trophy Wife).

The other three shows that were a part of the new Tuesday line-up were all much more heavily marketed and advertised to viewers.

This is actually the first time ABC has had the first cancellation in last few years. 2009's honor went to the CW, which cancelled The Beautiful Life: TBL after only two episodes. FOX won the next year's slot after cancelling Lonestar, also after two episodes. NBC's The Playboy Club managed to make it to three episodes before it was pulled in 2011, and 2012 saw CBS pulling Made in Jersey.
