Samsung's Galaxy Note 3 is proving that bigger may just be better in the ever-evolving world of smartphone technologies.

The 5.95 x 3.12 x 0.33 device comes with its own S Pen stylus and weighs 5.93 oz., making it significantly bigger than any of its competitors. The display has also improved compared prior models of the phone, according to Computer World. The Galazy Note 2 featured a 5.5-inch screen, while the newer model adds extra size with a 5.7-inch display.

The AMOLED screen features 1080p with sharp and bright colors and details. While previous models of the phone ran into problems with sunlight, the brighter display on the Note 3 eliminates more of the glare.

Other features of the phone include: a 3.5mm headphone jack, a USB 3.0 charging port which doubles as an HDMI outport, 13-megapixel camera, and a new textured faux-leather finish instead of the usual glossy black plastic coating that Samsung has heavily featured on past devices.

Underneath the physical elements, the phone runs on a 2.3GHz Snapdragon 800 quad-core processor and 3 GB of RAM. The 3200mAh battery charges quickly and there are 32Gbs of internal storage and a microSD card slot that allows for 64GB of external storage. It also runs custom Samsung TouchWiz software based on Android 4.3

The Galaxy Note 3 is now available on AT&T for $300 and Sprint for $250 with a new two-year contract. T-Mobile offers the device for $0 down and a two-year $29.50/month payment plan. Verizon will begin selling the phone on Oct.10 for $300 on contract.
