Coming into tonight's game, the New York Rangers are 1-4-0. After losing to the Phoenix Coyotes in the first match of the year, the Rangers picked up their only victory against the Los Angeles Kings. New York then went on to loose to the San Jose Sharks, the Anaheim Ducks, and the St. Louis Blues. Currently in seventh for the Metropolitan Division with two points, the Rangers are just ahead of the Philadelphia Flyers with their 1-6-0 record, according to ESPN.
