NHL fans can live stream tonight's faceoff between the Detroit Red Wings and the Colorado Avalanche free online.

The two teams will take the ice at 9 p.m. ET from the Pepsi Center in Denver, Colo.

Entering their seventh game of the season, the Colorado Avalanche currently has an undefeated record. The Denver team started off the season with a victory over the Anaheim Ducks and continued to win in their subsequent games. Without ever entering overtime, the Avalanche has defeated the Nashville Predators, the Toronto Maple Leafs, the Boston Bruins, the Washington Capitals, and the Dallas Stars. Colorado is currently in first place for the Central Division with 12 points, according to ESPN.

Coming into tonight's game, the Detroit Red Wings are 5-2-0. Starting the season off with two consecutive wins, first over the Buffalo Sabers and then in overtime over the Carolina Hurricanes, Detroit had a strong opening. The Red Wings then fell to the Boston Bruins and the Phoenix Coyotes before picking up three victories courtesy of the Philadelphia Flyers, the Boston Bruins, and the Columbus Blue Jackets. Detroit is currently in second place for the Central Division with 10 points, according to ESPN.
