NHL fans can live stream tonight's faceoff between the Colorado Avalanche and the Pittsburgh Penguins free online.

The two teams will take the ice at 7:30 p.m. ET from the CONSOL Energy Center in Pittsburgh, Penn.

Entering their seventh game of the season, the Colorado Avalanche currently has a 7-1-0 record. The Denver team started off the season with a victory over the Anaheim Ducks and continued to on a six game winning streak. Without ever entering overtime, the Avalanche defeated the Nashville Predators, the Toronto Maple Leafs, the Boston Bruins, the Washington Capitals, and the Dallas Stars. However, the Avalanche finally fell to the Detroit Red Wings last Thursday before beating the Buffalo Bills on Saturday. Colorado is currently in first place for the Central Division with 14 points, according to ESPN.

Coming into tonight's game, the Pittsburgh Penguins also have a 7-1-0 record. The Pennsylvania team has had a strong season so far, starting of the year with a three match winning streak. After defeating the New Jersey Devils, beating out the Buffalo Sabers, and conquering the Carolina Hurricanes, the Penguins finally lost to the Florida Panthers. The team's last four games have resulted in victories over the Tampa Bay Lightening, the Edmonton Oilers, the Philadelphia Flyers, and the Vancouver Canucks. The Penguins are currently in first place for the Metropolitan Division with 14 points, according to ESPN.
