It will be a reunion of sorts for Kevin Garnett and Paul Pierce as the Brooklyn Nets (4-1) face off against their former team, the Boston Celtics (1-6) at the TD Garden on Wednesday.

While the 2013-14 NBA season now in the thick of things, the basketball season will inevitably have its fair share of sleepers and disappointments,

According to Bleacher Report, several general managers gave their vote on who they thought the most improved team was heading into the upcoming season.

In what may not come as a surprise to many, the Detroit Pistons finished atop the voting with 16.7 percent. However, it was the Brooklyn Nets, Houston Rockets, Minnesota Timberwolves, Cleveland Cavaliers, New Orleans Pelicans and Washington Wizards who all tied for second in the category at 13.3 percent of the votes.

WIth a healthy Brandon Jennings along with Josh Smith, many NBA loyalists will surely concur with the majority ruling. The latter is versatile with great athleticism while the former is a fantastic shooter.
