NHL fans can live stream tonight's faceoff between the Ottawa Senators and the Detroit Red Wings for free online.

The two teams will take the ice at 7:30 p.m. ET from the Joe Louis Arena in Detroit, Mich.

Entering their 11th match of the season, the Detroit Red Wings are 6-3-1. Starting the season off with two consecutive wins, first over the Buffalo Sabres and then in overtime against the Carolina Hurricanes, Detroit had a strong opening. The Red Wings then fell to the Boston Bruins and the Phoenix Coyotes before picking up four victories courtesy of the Philadelphia Flyers, the Boston Bruins, the Columbus Blue Jackets, and the Colorado Avalanche. However, the Michigan team recently lost to the Phoenix Coyotes and the San Jose Sharks. Detroit is currently in second place for the Atlantic Division with 13 points, according to ESPN.

Coming into tonight's game, the Ottawa Senators are 3-3-2. Starting off the season with a win against the Buffalo Sabres, the Canadian team went on to suffer defeats from the Toronto Maple Leafs, the Los Angeles Kings, the San Jose Sharks, and the Anaheim Ducks. After skating to victory against the Phoenix Coyotes and the New Jersey Devils, the Senators lost to the Edmonton Oilers on Saturday. Ottawa is currently in sixth place for the Atlantic Division with eight points, according to ESPN.
