As the Devils prepare to take on the Vancouver team once more, they are currently ranked sixth in the Metropolitan Division with five points, according to ESPN.
Coming into tonight's game, the Vancouver Canucks are 6-4-1. Starting off the season with a loss to the San Jose Sharks, the Canucks went on to beat the Edmonton Oilers, Calgary Flames, and New Jersey Devils before being crushed by the Sharks once more. After a defeat at the hands of the Montreal Canadiens, the Canucks scored two more wins against the Philadelphia Flyers and the Buffalo Sabres before falling to the Pittsburgh Penguins and the Columbus Blue Jackets. A win over the New York Islanders on Tuesday moved the Canucks to fourth place for the Pacific Division with 13 points, according to ESPN.
