After losing to the Phoenix Coyotes in the first match of the year, the Rangers picked up their first victory against the Los Angeles Kings. New York then went on to loose to the San Jose Sharks, the Anaheim Ducks, the St. Louis Blues, and the New Jersey Devils while managing a win against the Washington Capitals. The Rangers are currently in seventh for the Metropolitan Division with four points, according to ESPN.
