NHL fans can live stream tonight's faceoff between the Carolina Hurricanes and the Minnesota Wild for free online.

Entering their 10th game of the season, the Carolina Hurricanes have a 4-2-3 record. The Hurricanes started off the season with a loss to the Detroit Red Wings and have had several weeks of up-and-down success. While the team has managed to pull in wins against the Philadelphia Flyers, the Washington Capitals, the Toronto Maple Leafs, and the New York Islanders, the Hurricanes have suffered defeats at the hands of the Pittsburgh Penguins, the Los Angeles Kings, the Phoenix Coyotes, and the Chicago Blackhawks. Carolina is currently in second place for the Metropolitan Division with 11 points, according to ESPN.

Coming into tonight's game, the Minnesota Wild has a 4-3-3 record. The Wild kicked off the season with a string of losses to the Los Angeles Kings, the Anaheim Ducks, and the Nashville Predators before skating to victory against the Winnipeg Jets, the Dallas Stars, and the Buffalo Sabres. The team emerged from a three game losing streak on Tuesday when they took down the Nashville Predators. Minnesota is currently in third place for the Central Division with 11 points, according to ESPN.
