Kesha Illuminati, Ghosts & Dr. Luke Controversy, 'Crazy Kids' Singer Opens Up in Rolling Stone
Kesha spoke about Illuminati rumors, the supernatural and Dr. Luke in her recent interview with Rolling Stone magazine.
The 26-year-old was accused of featuring symbols associated to the Illuminati in her latest videos for Die Young and Crazy Kids. During the interview Kesha didn't deny the rumors. Instead, she played along with them.
"It's so much worse than they think," she joked. "I'm really the leader of the Illuminati. That's true."
She also discussed another controversial issue - the time she said she had ghosts haunting her body.

"I know it sounds like the most ridiculous story, but I went to my healer that I go to whenever I'm at home, and she told me that because of my job, I exude energy. I exude light as a profession. You're on stage and you're just exuding," she told the magazine. "So my healer, she had to literally give me an exorcism. I know that sounds crazy, but it worked."
Aside from her paranormal experiences, Kesha also spoke about the future of her career. She said she's aware of the online petition, which is attempting to get her to part ways with her longtime producer, Dr. Luke. The two made some of her biggest hits, including her debut single Tik Tok. The singer, however, isn't angry with those who started the petition.
"I feel like my fans are really protective of me," she said. "They just want to see me grow as an artist, which I agree with. Hopefully in the future, I'll be in a position where I can put out a ballad or a more vulnerable song."
She added: "I don't want to just continue putting out the same song and becoming a parody myself. I have so much more to offer than that and I can't wait till the world really gets to hear that on the radio."
