Images of supposed new iPhone 5 components has surfaced over the weekend, hinting that the next-generation iPhone will have a significant design overhaul.

CydiaBlog reported that the iPhone parts supplier SW-BOX has gained access to components which will be part of the iPhone 5.
The components are believed to be the headphone jack, ear speaker, and wifi antenna for the new phone. The iPhone 4 and iPhon 4S currently have one component which groups together the headphone jack, volume buttons and must switch.

However, experts at iMore believe that the components are actually the new micro dock connector. They believe that the component is actually a dock connector, loud speaker, and cellular antenna.

iMore reported back in February that the new generation iPhone will not have the tradition 30-pin dock connecter, but will debut a smaller micro dock connector.

However, it is too early to determine how the components will be assembled as the design is yet to be finalized.

iMore believes that the screen size will be bigger than 4 inches, but will not feature a metal backing.

Latest rumors suggest that the new iPhone will be released in September. A report by DigiTimes claims that Pegatron, an alternate manufacture to Foxconn, has received manufacturing orders to have the newest supply of iPhones ready for September. Pegatron is currently an OEM for the iPhone 4S and the new iPad, according to the site.

Digitimes reported that Pegatron has already finished expanding its equipment and labor force for Apple's orders, and shifted its resources to fulfill Apple's orders.
