NHL fans can live stream tonight's faceoff between the Chicago Blackhawks and the Minnesota Wild for free online.

The two teams will take the ice at 8 p.m. ET from the Xcel Energy Center in Saint Paul, Minn.

Entering their 12th game of the season, the Blackhawks have a 6-2-3 record. The Chicago team started the season off strong with a victory over the Washington Capitals but soon fell twice to the Tampa Bay Lightning, twice to the St. Louis Blues, and once to the Minnesota Wild. After defeating the New York Islanders, the Buffalo Sabres, the Carolina Hurricanes, the Toronto Maple Leafs, and the Florida Panthers, the Blackhawks will now face the Wild for the second game in a row. Currently ranked second in the Central Division, the team has 15 points, according to ESPN.

After defeating the Blackhawks on Saturday, the Minnesota Wild will face the Chicago team again tonight. With a 6-3-3 record, the Wild kicked off the season with a string of losses to the Los Angeles Kings, the Anaheim Ducks, and the Nashville Predators before skating to victory against the Winnipeg Jets, the Dallas Stars, and the Buffalo Sabres. The team emerged from a three game losing streak last week in order to defeat the Predators, the Carolina Hurricanes, and the Blackhawks. Minnesota is currently tied for second place for the Central Division with 15 points, according to ESPN.
