The smoking-hot Seattle Seahawks (6-1) take to the gridiron tonight, against the banged-up St. Louis Rams (3-4), in St. Louis.

The adrenaline-charged Seahawks are off to a fantastic start this season and hold first place in the NFC West. The team's only loss was to the Indianapolis Colts on Oct. 6.

Quarter back, Russell Wilson has played a huge part in Seattle's success. Wilson is ranked seventh best in the NFL, with an ultra-impressive 97.2 passer rating. With 27.3 points per game, Seattle is ranked fourth in scoring.

The Seahawks also have a running game, with running back Marshawn Lynch. Lynch has rushed the ball a remarkable 578 yards this season.

Seattle's defense has been extremely effective as well, limiting opponents to an average of 16.6 points this season.

With Sam Bradford out for the rest of the season and Brett Favre not coming out of retirement, the Rams do not seem like a major threat to the dominant Seahawks.

Kellen Clemens is expected to get his 13th career start at QB tonight for St. Louis. After backing up Bradford the last two years, Clemens is familiar with the team's offensive scheme.

If Clemens struggles, expect to see Brady Quinn or Austin Davis take the helm. The rams signed both players last week.

Although the Rams look like heavy underdogs, the Seahawks have lost on two of their last three trips to St. Louis, including a 19-13 defeat last year.
