'NCIS: LA' Season 5 Spoilers: Sneak Peek, No New Hints to Callen's Past as Character Heads Back to School VIDEO
Someone on the NCIS: Los Angeles team has to go back to high school, but no one seems to want to head back to the wonderful world of secondary education.
Titled "Big Brother," the new episode will see the agents attempting to track down a 15-year-old hacker. To do so, one member will have to go undercover as a substitute teacher.
A new sneak peek shows Kensi (Daniela Ruah) walking up to the double doors of a building donning high heels and a blazer. While it looks like everything is proceeding according to plan, Kensi suddenly passes by the entrance, telling her partners that she can't go back to such a dark place as High School.
After a brief squabble over who should take her place, the team finally decides that their leader (Chris O'Donnell) will go in on their "hardest undercover" mission.
"Scouting E506 in Granada Hills today. Callen goes back to school. #staytuned," tweeted executive producer John Peter Kousakis during shooting in September.
Kousakis also wrote that the episode would not be divulging any more information about Callen's (O'Donnell) past. Considering fans got a giant serving of Callen back story in the series' 100th episode, "Reznikov, N.," it is not surprising that the writers are letting that new information stew for awhile.
However, Kousakis promises that the next installment will be enjoyable.
"Ep.506 is under way," Kousakis tweeted in mid-September. "Good start to a funny episode. #NCISLA"
NCIS: LA airs Tuesdays at 9 p.m. on CBS.
