NHL fans can live stream tonight's faceoff between the New York Rangers and the New York Islanders for free online.

The two teams will take the ice at 7 p.m. ET from the Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum in Uniondale, N.Y.

Entering their 13th match of the season, the New York Islanders are 4-4-3. Starting off the season strong with a shootout victory against the New Jersey Devils, the Islanders later crushed the Phoenix Coyotes to the tune of 6-1 and took down the Pittsburgh Penguins last Friday. However, the New York team enters tonight's home match after suffering recent losses to the Carolina Hurricanes, the Vancouver Canucks, and the Philadelphia Flyers. Currently in second for the Metropolitan Division, the Islanders have 11 points, according to ESPN.

Coming into tonight's game, the New York Rangers are 3-7-0. After losing to the Phoenix Coyotes in the first match of the year, the Rangers picked up their first victory against the Los Angeles Kings. The New York Rangers then proceeded to fall before the San Jose Sharks, the Anaheim Ducks, the St. Louis Blues, the New Jersey Devils, the Montreal Canadiens, and the Philadelphia Flyers. Despite skating to victory against the Detroit Red Wings on Saturday, the Rangers are currently in seventh for the Metropolitan Division with six points, according to ESPN.
