Coming off a Saturday win over the Boston Bruins, the Devils are currently ranked sixth in the Metropolitan Division with eight points, according to ESPN.
Coming into tonight's game, the Tampa Bay Lightening are 8-3-0. Starting off the season with a defeat at the hands of the Boston Bruins, the Lightning's early season began to take shape following a series of wins against the Chicago Blackhawks, the Buffalo Sabres, and the Florida Panthers. Although Tampa Bay recently lost to the Pittsburgh Penguins and the Boston Bruins, the Florida team also managed to score victories against the Chicago Blackhawks and the Minnesota Wild. The Lightning are currently in first place for the Atlantic division with 16 points, according to ESPN.
