The Canadian team started off the season with victories over the Edmonton Oilers and the Los Angeles Kings but soon suffered a string of losses to the Anaheim Ducks, the Minnesota Wild, and the Dallas Stars. Recent matches have resulted in more defeats at the hands of the Nashville Predators, the Washington Capitals, and the Colorado Avalanche. Winnipeg is currently in sixth place for the Central Division with 12 points, according to ESPN.
