The Canadian team started off the season with a defeat at the hands of the Washington Capitals, but soon scored their first win over the Columbus Blue Jackets. Since then, the Flames have lost to the Vancouver Canucks, the Anaheim Ducks, the San Jose Sharks, the Dallas Stars, and the Phoenix Coyotes. Wins over the Montreal Canadiens, the New Jersey Devils, the Los Angles Kings, and the Washington Capitals have helped to put Calgary in sixth place for the Pacific Division with 12 points, according to ESPN.
