Los Angeles: Celebrities React On Twitter Amid Reports of Gunfire at Los Angeles Airport, Killing Three & Injuring Others [LIVE STREAMING]
Reports of gunfire at Los Angeles International Airport in L.A. Friday that left three people dead have renewed calls for better gun control in the United States.
Reactions to the news of the shooting, which reportedly happened in Terminal 3 of the airport, have anywhere between one and three people being shot, including one TSA agent, with multiple others being treated for injuries.
Reactions on twitter to the shooting have varied from reports as new information surfaces, to calls for better gun control once again, including from celebrities.
Ian Somerhalder, star of the CW's The Vampire Diaries tweeted after hearing the news "CAN WE STOP SHOOTING EACH OTHER!!!!!!!!!!?????DAMMIT! 3 DAYS AGO SHOOTING IN MY NEIGHBORHOOD NOW LAX? WTF??!!!."
Other celebrities who were at the airport or on flights destined to arrive there, have also been tweeting about the shooting and posting anything they know on various social media outlets.
Tori Black, an adult film star, also tweeted about the incident as it affected a flight she was on to Philadelphia.
"Shooting at LAX at my terminal. Hope everyone's ok. Don't think I'll be headed to Philly today," she tweeted, before updating followers with news of the secured terminal she was in being safe.
She also tweeted that she believed the suspect in the shooting was in custody before uploading a video to her instagram account of a secured, packed terminal.
Mark Salling, who plays Noah Puckerman on FOX"s hit series Glee, also tweeted about the shooting, which prevented him from boarding a flight to Dallas.
"Otw to lax and I hear there was a shooting at the terminal I'm going to. No Dallas for me this weekend. I hope everyone is ok. I hate u LAX," he tweeted.
Jeremy Scahill, an independent journalist, tweeted that he was sitting next to Closer actress Kyra Sedgwick on a flight that was now being rerouted to Ontario airport as a safety precaution.
The terminal that has currently been closed off as police continue investigating services flights from AirTran Airways, Alaska Airlines, American Trans Air, Frontier Airlines, Horizon Air, Jet Blue, Midwest Airlines, Spirit Airlines Sun Country, according to the Airports website.
