NHL fans can live stream tonight's faceoff between the Colorado Avalanche and the Dallas Stars online.

The two teams will take the ice at 8:30 p.m. ET from American Airlines Center in Dallas, Texas.

Entering their 12th game of the season, the Colorado Avalanche currently has a 10-1-0 record. The Denver team started off the season with a victory over the Anaheim Ducks and continued to on a six game winning streak. Without ever entering overtime, the Avalanche has defeated the Nashville Predators, the Toronto Maple Leafs, the Boston Bruins, the Washington Capitals, and the Dallas Stars. However, the Avalanche finally fell to the Detroit Red Wings before beating the Buffalo Bills, the Pittsburgh Penguins, the Carolina Hurricanes, and the Winnipeg Jets. Colorado is currently in first place for the Central Division with 20 points, according to ESPN.

Coming into tonight's game, the Dallas Stars are 5-6-1. The Stars had a rough start to the year following a loss to the Florida Panthers in their season opener. An up-and-down season for Dallas has resulted in defeats at the hands of the Minnesota Wild, the Colorado Avalanche, the Los Angeles Kings, the Anaheim Ducks, and the Winnipeg Jets. However, the Texan team did pull out an unexpected win over the San Jose Sharks and triumphed over the Buffalo Sabres before losing once more on Tuesday. The Stars are currently in seventh place for the Central Division with 11 points, according to ESPN.
