NHL fans can live stream tonight's faceoff between the New York Islanders and the Washington Capitals online.

The two teams will take the ice at 7 p.m. ET from the Verizon Center in Washington, D.C.

Entering their 15th match of the season, the New York Islanders are 4-5-3. Starting off the season strong with a shootout victory against the New Jersey Devils, the Islanders later crushed the Phoenix Coyotes to the tune of 6-1. The New York team enters tonight's road match after defeating the Ottawa Senators and the Boston Bruins over the weekend. Currently in second for the Metropolitan Division, the Islanders have 15 points, according to ESPN.

Coming into tonight's game, the Washington Capitals have a 7-7-0 record. The D.C. team started off the season with a loss to the Chicago Blackhawks, but soon scored their first win in a shootout with the Calgary Flames. After a three game winning streak courtesy of the Columbus Blue Jackets, the Winnipeg Jets, and the Edmonton Oilers, the Capitals lost to the Flames and the Vancouver Canucks before defeating the Philadelphia Flyers and the Florida Panthers over the weekend. Washington is currently in third place for the Metropolitan Division with 14 points, according to ESPN.
