After losing to the Philadelphia Flyers on Saturday and the Minnesota Wild on Sunday, New Jersey is currently ranked sixth in the Metropolitan Division with 10 points, according to ESPN.
Coming into tonight's game, the Philadelphia Flyers are 4-9-1. Starting off the season with a loss to the Toronto Maple Leafs, the Philadelphia team pulled in their first win against the Florida Panthers on Oct. 8. In addition to the Maple Leafs, the Flyers have also lost to the Canadiens, the Hurricanes, the Coyotes, the Red Wings, the Canucks, the Capitals, the Ducks, and the Penguins. Following a win over the New Jersey Devils on Saturday and a loss the the Hurricanes on Sunday, the Flyers are currently in eighth place for the Metropolitan Division with nine points, according to ESPN.
