NHL fans can live stream tonight's faceoff between the New York Islanders and the Carolina Hurricanes online.

The two teams will take the ice at 7 p.m. ET from the PNC Arena in Raleigh, N>C.

Entering their 16th match of the season, the New York Islanders are 6-6-3. Starting off the season strong with a shootout victory against the New Jersey Devils, the Islanders later crushed the Phoenix Coyotes to the tune of 6-1. The New York team enters tonight's road match after defeating the Ottawa Senators and the Boston Bruins over the weekend and losing to the Washington Capitals on Tuesday. Currently in third for the Metropolitan Division, the Islanders have 15 points, according to ESPN.

Coming into tonight's game, the Carolina Hurricanes have a 5-7-3 record. The Hurricanes started off the season with a loss to the Detroit Red Wings and then had several weeks of up-and-down success. While the team has managed to pull in wins against the Philadelphia Flyers, the Washington Capitals, the Toronto Maple Leafs, and the New York Islanders, they have suffered defeats at the hands of the Pittsburgh Penguins, the Los Angeles Kings, the Phoenix Coyotes, the Chicago Blackhawks, the Minnesota Wild, the Colorado Avalanche, the Tampa Bay Lightning, and the New York Rangers. The Hurricanes are currently in fifth place for the Metropolitan Division with 13 points, according to ESPN.
