Coming into tonight's game, the Dallas Stars are 7-6-2. The Stars had a rough start to the year following a loss to the Florida Panthers in their season opener. An up-and-down season for Dallas has resulted in defeats at the hands of the Minnesota Wild, the Colorado Avalanche, the Los Angeles Kings, the Anaheim Ducks, and the Winnipeg Jets. However, the Texan team did pull out an unexpected win over the San Jose Sharks and recently triumphed over the Ottawa Senators and the Boston Bruins. The Stars are currently in sixth place for the Central Division with 16 points, according to ESPN.
