Following recent victories over the Florida Panthers and the Montreal Canadiens, the Blues lost to the Tampa Bay Lightning on Saturday. St. Louis is currently ranked fourth in the Central Division with 20 points, according to ESPN.
Coming into tonight's game, the Calgary Flames have a 6-7-2 record. The Canadian team started off the season with a defeat at the hands of the Washington Capitals, but soon scored their first win over the Columbus Blue Jackets. Since then, the Flames have lost to the Vancouver Canucks, the Anaheim Ducks, the San Jose Sharks, the Dallas Stars, the Toronto Maple Leafs, and the Phoenix Coyotes. The Flames recently fell to the Detroit Red Wings and the Minnesota Wild while skating to victory against the Chicago Blackhawks. The Flames are in sixth place for the Pacific Division with 14 points.
