Former Playboy model Brandi Brandt has been extradited to Sydney Australia from Los Angeles to face charges for her alleged role in a cocaine-trafficking ring.
According to the Daily Mail, Brandt, 45, is accused of being involved with a ring that hid packages of cocaine on Qantas and United Airlines passenger planes that flew from California to Sydney. Court documents allege Brandt conspired with others to import a commercial quantity of the drug between July and December 2007, earning $130,000 in profit.
Brandt's former boyfriend, motorcycle stuntman Rusty Setser, was also extradited to Australia last month, where he faced smuggling charges.
Text messages between Setser and Brandt allegedly called for the former model to go to Sydney twice between November and December 2007, and saw her transferring almost $72K to herself in eight transactions at different banks.
On one of her return planes home, customs officers using a drug-sniffing dog found a 12-block package of cocaine hidden in a garbage can in a bathroom at the rear of the aircraft.
Brandt was Playmate of the month in October 1987, and shared the cover of the March 1990 issue of Playboy with Donald Trump. She also had a bit part on one episode of Married With Children, titled Desperately Seeking Miss October, in 1989.
Brandt is also the former wife of Motley Crue bassist Nikki Sixx, and is a mother of three.
Brandt reportedly did not apply for bail or enter any pleas to the charges.
