NeNe Leakes Hospital PHOTO, 'The Real Housewives of Atlanta' Season 6 Star Denies Heart Attack Rumors
Nene Leakes wasn't kidding when she shared on Twitter that she wasn't feeling well on Sunday. The following day, she revealed she had to be hospitalized.
Following the airing of episode 4 of The Real Housewives of Atlanta season 6, Leakes thanked her fans for watching the show and said she was ill.
"Thanks 4 tuning into RHOA 2nite! I have been very sick for the past couple of days but I wanted 2 Thank my tweetie pies," she wrote on Twitter on Nov. 17.

Less than 24 hours later she shared a "selfie" of herself in a bed wearing a hospital gown with two IV tubes hooked up into her arms. She captioned the photo on her website, "My arms are hurting wit these IV's #blessedtobealive..."

UPDATE: Leakes debunked a report that alleged she suffered a heart attack on her official website on Tuesday. After thanking everyone for their "concerns and prayers" she shared her medical diagnosis.
"Late last week I wasn't feeling well and was feeling a little short of breath. I know my body and I know when I should be concerned so I went to the hospital to get checked out. After some routine tests I was diagnosed with blood clots in my lung. I'm told this happened to me because of the constant traveling around the country that I do for my job," she wrote. "Contrary to published reports I did not have a heart attack."
Leakes' fellow reality star and friend who attended her June 22 Atlanta wedding, Millionaire Matchmaker star Patti Stanger sent her well wishes on the social media site.
"Feel better baby @NeNeLeakes I can't loose my gurl we gotta a lot of plans coming up. If u need me I'm here," she wrote.
A new episode of The Real Housewives of Atlanta season 6 airs on Sundays at 8 p.m. EST on Bravo.
