New details have emerged in the case of a 14-year-old Massachusetts student who has been charged with murdering his math teacher.

Philip Chism, 14, was arrested and charged with murdering Colleen Ritzer, 24, a math teacher at Danvers High School in October, and now, new details have emerged about the gruesome crime, according to The Daily Mail.

Court papers that have been made public have unleashed chilling new details about how Chism not only murdered the beloved teacher, but also raped her with a tree branch.

After Ritzer asked him to stay after class on Oct. 22, Chism reportedly followed Ritzer into a second-floor bathroom at the school, raped her, slit her throat with a box cutter, and wheeled her body outside in a large recycling bin before dumping it in the woods next to a hand-written note which read "I hate you all."

Chism, who was indicted in a Massachusetts court Thursday, Nov. 21 on rape and murder charges, also faces charges of armed robbery for stealing Ritzer's iPhone, credit card and underwear before leaving the crime scene. When he was found hours later, Chism reportedly still had Ritzer's underwear and a bloody knife in his bag.

It was also revealed at the proceedings that Chism's parents are currently going through a divorce.

Enstars previously reported that the police involved in the case found nothing to suggest that Ritzer had an untoward relationship with Chism.

Detectives are still working on a theory as to Chism's motive, which the teen still refuses to reveal. It is believed that Chism, who had only been a student at the school for a few months, had become infatuated with Ritzer and murdered her after she rejected his advances.
