‘Twerk Your Turkey’ MUSIC VIDEO: Weirdest Thanksgiving Ad Ever? WATCH
This may not be what the Pilgrims had in mind when they sat down for that first Thanksgiving dinner.
A new tongue-in-cheek 'turkey day' advertisement airing on Logo TV is making headlines because it features a music video with Miley Cyrus-type twerking.
What makes the video so different, however, is that the twerking is coming from an uncooked, ready-to-prepare turkey.
The song, called Twerk Your Turkey, has been popping up in various places online, including Twitter, where several commenters have called the YouTube video, which was posted on Nov. 20, 'disturbing' and 'weird.'
"SO DISTURBING! But oh so funny," 97.5 FM Waco tweeted.
"Twerk your turkey? Excuse me what? #tooweird," Alyson Potje tweeted.
The Youtube video, which currently has over 82,000 views, inspired similar comments to the ones on Twitter.
"This is kinda disturbing. I didn't evern finish it," Nick V. posted.
"Wow, that looks so gross, disturbing and just downright nasty..." Enjoli Johnson said.
The video has also inspired a live reaction by Cassidy Quinn, a reporter and video blogger, who watched the video and shared her reaction with viewers.
"I have no idea what just happened," Quinn said in her video. "I just saw a lot of naked turkey...I will never think of turkey the same way again...That just scarred me for life."
Some of the lyrics for the song include: "Forget your stuffing/don't serve the ham/serve the corn/candy your yams/And twerk your turkey/twerk your turkey/twerk your turkey/twerk it right."
