Eminem Kim Mathers; Rapper's Rep Confirms Ex-Couple Not Back Together, Says They 'Continue to Maintain a Great Friendship'
Despite recent reports, Eminem and his ex-wife, Kim Mathers, have not reconciled just yet, a source confirmed.
"They aren't back together yet -- per se-- but anything could happen and they are together all the time for the sake of the kids." The insider added, "Despite everything Em has been through with addictions, he's always been an amazing father, and always had a place in his heart for Kim because of their history and the kids."
The source continued and said that both Mathers and Eminem have matured and overcame their issue with drugs.
A rep for Eminem also told E! News that the couple, who got married in 1995 and divorced in 2001, then remarried in 2006 and divorced later that year, said the two are just friends.
"Marshall and Kim continue to maintain a great friendship and share in the parenting of their family."
Speculation of the two getting back together started after Mathers' mother and Eminem's former mom-in-law told Radar Online she thought there was a chance of reconciliation.
"I think they might. They get on better than ever...He's building her a new house on 22 mile right over there. [Kim] has been clean all these years, she just takes care of her family. She's doing well."
Mathers and Eminem have one biological child together, Hallie, who was born in 1995. They also take care of Mathers' daughter from a previous relationship, Whitney, and Mathers' niece, Aliana.
The two were last seen together in October when Hallie won Homecoming Queen.
